This Album is a compilation of original and cover songs and instrumentals utilizing a variety of acoustic stringed instruments—vintage prewar to modern, contemporary builds. Musical style of each track reflects the varied acoustic quality of instruments used.
The CD, “Kona...and Spirit of the Islands”, Studio Sessions with Ken Totushek and John Soter is a multi year project (began in 2002). The CD is a relaxing, enjoyable compilation of instrumental tunes, mostly in the spirit of slack key guitar music.
